Why China why Shanghai?
The population density and accelerating restructuring activities of the new living spaces that are formed in China, which is rapidly urbanized, also increase the appetite of the producers.
Domotex China, the largest commercial carpet and flooring fair of Asia Pacific, is growing annually since 1999, when it began to be organized. Two of the three visitors who attended the fair were the participants who had the right to make direct purchasing.
3 out of 4 visitors think the fair is very important for their business. 4 out of 5 visitors state that they have new business contacts and have received orders using the opportunities provided by Domotex China. Shanghai, the largest city in China, also has come to the forefront in the recent global events as well as its commercial life. As the number of events held every year increases, Shanghai is increasingly referred to as an international fair city.
The potential is rising in the Chinese market. Population density, economic strength, trade volume are the three main reasons why the Chinese market is most attractive. In addition, 350 million people living in rural areas of China are expected to settle in the cities of the country until 2025. By this time, it is expected that the population in China’s six cities will be over 20 million.
At the same time, it is predicted that more than 1 million people will be working in 221 cities in the country. Construction industry in China is also increasing. This means a serious potential for home textiles and the carpet industry.
China whose office and logistics facilities are expected to grow between 3 and 5 times over the next 10 years, has great potential for these sectors.
